Yasmin Harper Finishes Fifth in Women's 3m Springboard as China Secures 10th Consecutive Gold

Great Britain’s Yasmin Harper finished fifth in the women’s 3m springboard final at the Paris Games, as China continued their dominance by winning their 10th consecutive gold in the event. Harper, 24, achieved a combined score of 305.10 from her five dives.

Earlier in the Games, Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen secured Team GB’s first medal by winning bronze in the synchronised 3m springboard event.

In the individual competition, China’s Chen Yiwen was a standout performer, securing gold with a total score of 376.00. This marks her second gold medal in Paris, having also claimed victory in the synchronised event alongside Chang Yani. Despite her success in the synchronised category, Chang settled for bronze in the individual event with a score of 318.75. Australia’s Maddison Keeney captured silver with a score of 343.10.

Grace Reid, another British competitor and a veteran of three Olympic Games, finished in 10th place with a score of 275.85. Reid’s performance adds to her extensive experience on the international stage, representing Great Britain in diving.
