Trump Holds First Outdoor Rally Since July Attack, Protected by Bulletproof Glass
Donald Trump held his first outdoor rally since the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on July 13, today in Asheboro, North Carolina. The event was marked by heightened security, including a bulletproof glass screen surrounding the podium, a precautionary measure following the recent attack.
Trump was introduced by his running mate, JD Vance, who praised the former president’s resilience and commitment to his campaign. “They couldn’t beat him at the ballot box, so they tried to bankrupt him. They failed, so they tried to impeach him,” Vance said. “They failed at that, so they tried to put him in prison. And they even tried to kill him… Donald Trump still stands.”
Taking the stage, Trump thanked Vance for his support, saying, “Just wanted to thank JD… Doing a fantastic job.”
The rally, which was attended by a large and enthusiastic crowd, highlighted Trump’s determination to continue his presidential campaign despite the recent challenges.
