Tinubu Commits to Empowering Private Sector and Revitalizing Economy

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu on Tuesday committed to empowering the Organised Private Sector (OPS) and revitalizing the country’s economy.

President Tinubu expressed this at the third edition of the Nigeria Employers Summit, organized by the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) in Abuja.

The two-day summit, themed “Economic Renaissance: Harnessing Government Reforms and Private Sector Agility,” was deemed timely by the President, who was represented by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Rt. Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.

He emphasized that the government has introduced several impactful reforms aimed at rebuilding the economy and supporting organized businesses.

“This Administration is undoubtedly dedicated to empowering the private sector and revitalizing our economy.

“In our pursuit of economic renaissance and national renewal, we have implemented various necessary reforms to steer our nation away from economic challenges.

“These reforms are crucial for preserving our national wealth and establishing a solid foundation for our national development.

“This Administration will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure business sustainability, attract foreign direct investment, and restore our nation to its former glory as the pride of Africa,” he said.
