Druski has come under fire after posting a skit titled “African scammers be living they best life,” in which he portrayed a Nigerian scammer named Baba Oluwatosin. The video, shared on X on October 21, 2024, depicted illegal financial activities, featuring the use of Naira and multiple Nigerian ATM cards.

The skit has sparked widespread criticism, especially from Nigerians, who expressed their frustration over the perpetuation of negative stereotypes. One outraged user commented, “We don’t find this trash skit funny, please delete before morning, thank you.”

Social media personality Daniel Regha also criticized the video, stating, “This is beyond insensitive; Nigerians are often labelled scammers based on our nationality, and you are furthering the stereotype with this ill content. After all your time in Nigeria, this is what you choose to highlight?”
