Pennsylvania Court Extends Voting Hours at Laflin Borough Polling Location
A Pennsylvania court has ordered a polling station in Laflin Borough to remain open for an additional 90 minutes after a delay in opening earlier in the day. According to court documents, the polling location opened an hour and a half late, causing some voters to be unable to cast their ballots before needing to leave.
The court’s ruling extends voting at the Laflin Borough location until 9:30 PM local time, ensuring that voters impacted by the delay have the opportunity to participate in the election.
The Pennsylvania Court system also confirmed that election-related cases have been filed in three counties: Luzerne, Northampton, and Cambria. However, state officials have been actively dispelling rumors of legal complaints in other areas and have committed to providing frequent updates as the voting day progresses.
