No Survivors After Plane Crash in São Paulo, Brazil

A tragic plane crash has claimed the lives of all 61 people on board in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The twin-engine turboprop aircraft, operated by Voepass, was carrying 58 passengers and four crew members on a flight from Cascavel in Paraná to São Paulo’s main airport when it went down in the town of Vinhedo.

Shocking footage circulating on social media shows the plane spiraling down vertically before crashing into a residential area. Fortunately, only one home in the local condominium complex was damaged, and no residents were injured.

Local authorities in Valinhos, a nearby town, confirmed the deaths of all on board and have sent emergency personnel to the crash site. The Brazilian Air Force has launched an investigation into the incident, revealing that the plane lost radar contact at 13:22 local time, just minutes after failing to respond to calls from São Paulo’s Approach Control. The plane had not declared an emergency or reported adverse weather conditions before the crash.
