Court Approves Independent Autopsy for Late Singer Mohbad
The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has granted permission to the family of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, to conduct an independent autopsy and toxicology test. The family requested this following suspicions surrounding Mohbad’s death.
This decision follows an inconclusive autopsy previously conducted by the Lagos State Government, which the Aloba family’s legal team rejected. They sought an independent postmortem to obtain a second opinion.
The court has stipulated that the Aloba family will cover all legal expenses for the autopsy and toxicology process. Additionally, Mohbad’s father, mother, and wife must be present during the procedure.
The family’s lawyer, representing their interests, expressed approval of the court’s ruling and emphasized their commitment to uncovering the true circumstances of the late singer’s death.
