Clinton Jephter Degol's Move to Enugu Rangers

Former Nigeria Tornadoes winger Clinton Jephter Degol is thrilled about his recent transfer to Enugu Rangers, the reigning Nigerian champions. In a statement shared by the club’s media department, Degol expressed gratitude to have joined such a prestigious club. Despite interest from multiple suitors, he confidently chose Rangers, believing it to be the perfect fit for his career.

“I want to thank God for this opportunity. Joining Rangers International, the current league champions, fills me with happiness and pride. It’s a dream come true for me. Though the decision was tough with many clubs interested, I am convinced Rangers is where I belong,” said Degol, who signed a year-long contract to represent the club in the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.

Degol, known for his stellar performances with Nigeria Tornadoes last season, finalized the deal on July 15, 2024, at Rangers’ corporate office in Enugu. His addition marks the 10th new player for the team as they prepare for both domestic title defense and continental challenges, beginning with a fixture against U.S. Zilimadjou in August 2024.
