AC Milan Triumphs Over Manchester City 3-2 in 2024 Soccer Champions Tour Opener
AC Milan began their 2024 Soccer Champions Tour campaign with a 3-2 win against Manchester City at Yankee Stadium last night.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for City, sweeping home a shot first time after a cut-back from the byline. However, Samuel Chukwueze then found Lorenzo Colombo twice to give Milan the lead. Colombo’s first goal was a header from close range, and the second was a well-controlled volley.
James McAtee levelled the score for the Premier League side, but Marco Nasti ensured the Rossoneri made a winning start in the United States by finishing well with 12 minutes left on the clock.
